Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 1st, 2026

1. Introduction

PresentIQ is an iOS app provided by TCP Security LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how PresentIQ, we, us, and our collect, use, store, and share information when you use the PresentIQ app and related services.

PresentIQ allows users to record or import speech, send that content to our backend for transcription and AI-powered analysis, and receive presentation-related outputs such as coaching feedback, scripts, slide bullet points, reports, and scores.

By using PresentIQ, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that is needed to operate PresentIQ and provide its features.

Account and identity information

We collect:

  • Your Sign in with Apple user identifier

  • Your email address, if Apple provides it to us during Sign in with Apple

PresentIQ currently uses Sign in with Apple for account identity.

Audio and session information

We collect:

  • Audio recordings you create in the app

  • Audio files you import into the app

  • Session metadata such as session title, session length, and processing history

Transcript and generated content

We collect and create:

  • Speech transcripts

  • Cleaned transcripts

  • Coaching feedback

  • Polished scripts

  • Slide bullet points / slide outlines

  • Full written reports

  • Presentation scores and related performance summaries

Subscription and entitlement information

We collect and store information related to plan access and feature entitlement, including:

  • Current subscription tier or effective plan status

  • Subscription product identifier

  • Subscription transaction metadata used to verify subscriptions

  • Usage limits, processed session counts, and cooldown/fair-usage state

Usage and operational information

We collect limited operational information needed to run the service, such as:

  • Request logs

  • Processing outcomes

  • Error messages

  • Latency/performance information

  • Duplicate-audio detection hashes

  • Basic usage history used for free/pro limits and fair-usage enforcement

3. Audio, Transcripts, and AI-Generated Content

Audio on your device

PresentIQ stores recorded or imported audio files locally on your device before processing.

The app includes a setting called Delete audio after processing. If this setting is enabled, the app deletes the local audio file after successful processing. If it is disabled, the local audio file remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app.

Audio uploaded to our backend

When you process a session, the app uploads the audio file and related metadata to our backend over the network.

Based on the current implementation, our backend processes uploaded audio in memory and sends it to OpenAI for transcription. The backend does not appear to permanently store raw audio files as part of normal processing. However, the backend may store a hash of the uploaded audio for duplicate detection.

Transcripts and AI-generated content

After processing, PresentIQ creates and/or stores:

  • Transcript text

  • Clean transcript text

  • Coaching feedback

  • Polished script text

  • Slide bullet points / slide outline text

  • Full report text

  • Performance overview

  • Presentation scores

  • Session history tied to your account

This information may be stored:

  • Locally on your device in the app’s local data store

  • On our backend in our database, tied to your account

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate users with Sign in with Apple

  • Process audio and generate transcripts

  • Generate AI-powered presentation outputs

  • Save and restore session history

  • Enforce free-tier and Pro-tier usage limits

  • Verify and manage subscriptions and entitlements

  • Detect duplicate uploads and reuse prior results when appropriate

  • Troubleshoot service issues

  • Monitor service reliability and processing performance

  • Support beta testing and limited account access controls

We do not describe our use of your data as advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

PresentIQ uses third-party services to operate key parts of the app.

Apple

We use Apple services for:

  • Sign in with Apple

  • StoreKit / App Store subscriptions and purchases

Apple may process information under Apple’s own privacy policies.

OpenAI

We use the OpenAI API to process user content, including:

  • Audio transcription

  • Transcript analysis

  • AI-generated coaching and presentation outputs

This means audio and transcript content submitted for processing is sent to OpenAI as part of providing the service.

Hosting and infrastructure providers

Our backend and database are hosted by third-party infrastructure providers. These providers may process data on our behalf for storage, networking, and service operation.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PresentIQ offers subscription-based features.

Payments are handled by Apple, not by us directly. We do not store full payment card details in the app or backend.

We do store limited subscription-related metadata necessary to verify access and enforce plan features, such as:

  • Subscription tier

  • Product ID

  • Transaction identifiers

  • Subscription verification timestamps

  • Subscription expiration information, where available

7. Data Storage and Retention

On-device storage

The app stores certain data locally on your device, including:

  • Audio file paths and local audio files

  • Session records

  • Transcripts

  • Generated outputs

  • Scores

  • App settings

Local audio may be deleted automatically after processing if the user enables that setting.

Server-side storage

Our backend stores account and session-related data, including:

  • User account record

  • Apple user identifier

  • Email address if available

  • Usage and entitlement state

  • Processed session records

  • Transcript and generated outputs

  • Scores

  • Duplicate-audio hash values

Retention

We retain backend-stored account and session data until deletion is requested, unless a shorter retention period is required for operational or legal reasons.

To request deletion of your backend-stored data, contact support@tcp-media.com with the subject or attention line: PresentIQ Data Removal.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share data only as needed to operate PresentIQ, including with:

  • Apple, for authentication and subscriptions

  • OpenAI, for transcription and AI processing

  • Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or services.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information in transit and in storage, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Based on the current implementation:

  • The production app is configured to communicate with the backend over HTTPS

  • Sensitive API keys for backend AI services are stored on the backend, not in the iOS app

  • The app does not embed the OpenAI API key in client code

We do not make guarantees that any transmission or storage system is completely secure.

10. User Choices and Deletion Requests

You may have the following choices:

  • You can choose whether local audio is deleted after successful processing using the app’s settings

  • You can stop using the app at any time

  • You can request deletion of your account or backend-stored data by contacting us at support@tcp-media.com, attention: PresentIQ Data Removal

At this time, the current implementation does not appear to provide a full self-service in-app deletion workflow for backend data. Until such a feature is added, deletion requests should be made through support.

11. Children’s Privacy

PresentIQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through PresentIQ, please contact us at support@tcp-media.com and we will review the request.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of PresentIQ after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
